Black History Month

Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month. It has received official recognition from governments in the United States and Canada, and more recently has been observed in Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

First Day of Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is the beginning of a calendar year whose months are moon cycles, based on the lunar calendar or lunisolar calendar. Lunar New Year is particularly celebrated in East and South East Asian countries.

Groundhog Day

On February 2nd, the emergence of the groundhog (woodchuck) from its burrow is said to foretell the weather for the following six weeks.

Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day occurs every year on February 14th. It is also known as the Feast day of Saint Valentine, and is often recognized as the celebration of love and affection.

President’s Day

Presidents’ Day in the United States, officially Washington’s Birthday, is a holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February!

National Safety Day

National Safety Day in India is observed every year on March 4 with the purpose of generating awareness and commitment to working safely. The holiday was initiated by the National Safety Council to increase the awareness of all the guidelines of safety measures, including road safety, workplace safety, the safety of human health, as well as the environment.
