Submit a copy of your UF certificate of completion to be eligible to sit for the CBDM® exam

Related college degree in foodservice management or nutrition; culinary arts; or hotel-restaurant management degree required

Pathway IIIB
College degree not required
2 or more years of noncommercial foodservice management experience required
Course can be completed in 2 months if you dedicate approx. 20hrs a week

Pathway V
2-year, 4-year, or higher college degree required
At least 5 years of institutional foodservice management experience required

Maintain Your Certification
• To maintain this certification 45 total CE hours are required every 3 years. 9 CEs must be Sanitation CEs and 1 CE must be a Professional Ethics CE. For more information visit the ANFP website.
