Welcome to the Team: Robb Wolf
The UF Office of Professional and Workforce Development (OPWD) is excited to welcome Robb Wolf as the lead trainer for backflow testing at the Training, Research, and Education for Environmental Occupations (TREEO) Center. He brings with him a deep-rooted passion for plumbing, education, and industry innovation.
Robb’s journey into the world of plumbing started long before he ever stepped into a classroom. As a third-generation plumber from Sarasota, he comes from a family business that has been in operation for over 83 years. His wealth of hands-on experience, combined with a willingness to take on challenging projects, has shaped him into the seasoned professional he is today. Having started his backflow training in 1989, Robb has dedicated decades to mastering the field and helping others grow within it.
Passion for Teaching and Impacting Lives
When asked what excites him most about his work, Robb is quick to highlight his love for teaching and the impact it has on his students. He believes in empowering individuals with the skills needed to build better careers, earn more money, and ultimately improve their lives. As a lead trainer at TREEO, he is eager to continue the center’s strong reputation while modernizing training methods to reach students far and wide.

More Than Just a Teacher
Outside of work, Robb enjoys giving back by helping others with various projects and spending quality time with his family. He’s also an avid swimmer and cyclist, with an impressive accomplishment under his belt—completing not one, but two Half Ironman challenges!

Robb looks forward to shaping the next generation of backflow testers and paving the way for future advancements in the field. His goal is to listen, learn, and contribute to TREEO’s success by ensuring students have access to top-tier training that aligns with today’s industry needs.
