Marine perspectives on protected area planning for climate change

The marine realm poses unique challenges in protected area adaptation to climate change.  Marine species move more and faster in response to climate change and the biogeography of marine species is still far behind that of terrestrial species.  But the marine realm provides unique opportunities as well, such as mobile Marine Protected Areas (mMPA).
