We are delighted to welcome participants from around the world to the 2024 International Symposium on Quantum Fluids and Solids (QFS24), a premier event for researchers and professionals in the field of quantum fluids and solids. This year, we are honored to host the event at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, from July 24-30, 2024.
The QFS conference, with its rich history and tradition of alternating locations between North America, Europe, and Asia since 1997, has been a cornerstone in the exploration of quantum phenomena in materials. QFS24 is committed to upholding a legacy of exploration and innovation. It focuses not only on conventional QFS systems, such as helium and trapped cold atoms, but also extends to embrace interdisciplinary applications and recent developments. These include areas such as QFS-based quantum devices, superfluid analogies of cosmological phenomena, and unconventional superfluids such as exciton-polariton superfluids.
QFS24 is organized by Prof. Yoonseok Lee of the University of Florida and Prof. Wei Guo of Florida State University, with the assistance of the University of Florida Conference Department. It is generously supported by the National Science Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), Florida State University, the University of Florida, and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, in addition to a number of industrial sponsors as detailed on the sponsor page.
