CALL FOR PROPOSALS


The Intersections conference is seeking proposals for presentations that offer attendees, first and foremost, opportunities to connect with each other and with presenters.

We are excited to invite presenters from all cross-sections of higher education to share your experiences and connect with your peers at this conference. Accepted proposals will be designed to spark new ideas, share cutting-edge innovations in online learning, foster connection, or expand participants’ understanding of roles and practices across one or more of the various communities in which they are members.

January 3, 2025 Notification of acceptance by review team
January 10, 2025 Presenters confirm or decline proposal acceptance
February 10, 2025 Final presentation files submitted to conference team

Available Session Types

Session Formats: Engaging, Inspiring, and Action-Packed

  • Conversation Circles
    Engage in dynamic discussions, Q&A sessions, panels, innovative brainstorming, and collaborative activities. These facilitated conversations are designed to spark fresh ideas and foster meaningful connections.
  • Skill Circles
    Participate in hands-on workshops and “how-to” presentations that provide practical skills. You’ll leave with actionable knowledge to immediately apply in your work and elevate your practice.
  • Sharing Circles
    Experience impactful presentations on innovations, insights, and experiences (40 minutes), followed by interactive discussions (10-20 minutes) for a deeper dive into the topic.
  • Posters
    Explore concise presentations focused on online learning innovation, practical solutions, practitioner research, role-based insights, and transformative initiatives. Ideal for gaining fresh perspectives and exchanging ideas.
