An inflection point occurred in 2022 that will change higher education forever. We are now living in a world with easy access to ever improving generative AI. The AI2 Summit will bring together leading experts in AI to increase understanding, share best practices, and rapidly advance the use of AI in higher education.

Joel Davis
Clinical Professor & Executive Director
Warrington College of Business
University of Florida
Joel Davis is a clinical professor in UF’s Warrington College of Business with 25 years of commercial experience in analytics, AI, and business operations. Most recently he was chief strategy officer at Revenue Management Solutions, a company that assists the restaurant and retail industry identify profitability opportunities through data-driven analytics, where he was responsible for leading the company’s emerging analytics and data strategy discipline. His current research is focused on the integration of analytics and artificial intelligence solutions into business decision-making, and effective AI solution adoption strategies within corporations. In addition to his clinical faculty role, Joel also serves as the executive director of the David F. Miller Retail Center at Warrington.
Frank Attaie
General Manager, Public Sector – IBM
Frank Attaie is General Manager Technology for the Public Sector at IBM, where he leads a team of technical, sales and delivery professionals that are passionate about client success and helping both Public Sector and Health Care and Life Sciences clients transform their businesses with innovative hybrid cloud and AI technologies.
Prior to his appointment, Frank served as General Manager Technology at IBM Canada, and was responsible for enabling clients across multiple industries to modernize their businesses across Canada. He was also Vice President, Cloud and Cognitive Software Applications; as well as Head of IBM Canada’s Financial Services business, where he managed all aspects of the IBM relationship with Canada’s largest financial institutions.
Frank joined IBM in 2000 with a strong background in Retail and Commercial Banking systems cultivated through five years in the banking industry. Frank has used his deep domain expertise in banking and technology, coupled with a proven ability to manage and navigate complex opportunities in collaboration with clients, to deliver strong results for their businesses.
Recently recognized for his contributions, Frank is a member of United Way Greater Toronto’s 2023 Community Campaign Cabinet and sits on their Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity (ILEO) Leadership Table. Frank also serves as an executive ally for IBM’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group.
Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration degree from both Queen’s School of Business and Cornell’s Johnson School of Management. He is a member of the Smith School of Business Advisory Board.
Married with two young boys, Frank enjoys golf and is an avid rugby fan.
